These Terms set out the conditions for using the software "AutoHano Works" (the "Software") provided by AutoHano (자동하노 · AutoHano, the "Company"). Installing or running the Software constitutes agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or run the Software.
1. "Software" means the executable files, server and user interface code, bundled runtime, samples and documentation, and their updates.
2. "Free plan" means all of the features used without a license; "Starter" and "Unlimited" mean the plans used for one year by paying on works.autohano.com or by registering a license code; and "Enterprise" means use under a separate contract.
3. "User Files" means the XG5000 (.xgwx) and XP-Builder (.xpd) project files that the User has added to the Software, and their copies and derived data.
4. "AI Output" means explanations, summaries and inferred statements that an AI tool connected by the User produces by reading the Software's data. The Software itself does not provide an AI service and does not charge fees for AI use.
1. The Company grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable right to use the Software within the scope of these Terms. The copyright and all intellectual property rights in the Software belong to the Company; what is sold is not the Software but a right to use it.
2. The Free plan may be used for work, whether by an individual or a company.
3. A license (Starter or Unlimited) permits use by one person (one seat), the person who bought it. For several people at a company to use it, as many licenses as there are people are required. A license paid for on the website opens on the account's two designated PCs and is used on one PC at a time, and the designation can be cleared once a month. On a PC that is not a designated PC, the Software opens as the Free plan.
4. For Enterprise, the number of seats, on-premises conditions and the scope of support are set out in a separate written contract.
1. When payment is made on works.autohano.com, the features of that plan open for one year from the time payment is completed (for payment made during the free beta period, from the day after the beta ends). With a license code, the features open from the time the code is registered in the Software, for the period stated in the code.
2. A license code must be registered within 30 days from the date the code is sent; if it is not registered, the period of use is deemed to have started on the 31st day from the date it was sent.
3. When the period ends, the Software returns to the Free plan. User data such as the added history, comparisons and comments remains as it is and can still be viewed on the Free plan. The Company does not hold data hostage.
4. License codes that have been refunded are invalidated through Software updates.
The User must not engage in the following acts. This applies equally whether a person does them directly or does them using automation tools, scripts or AI assistants.
1. Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling or deobfuscating the Software, restoring its bytecode or bundles, or extracting its source code
2. Extracting from the Software, or transferring to another product, the file format knowledge, parsers or comparison algorithms that the Software handles
3. Circumventing license verification, tier determination or signature verification, creating forged licenses, or sharing, reselling or transferring license codes
4. Redistributing, renting or leasing all or part of the Software, providing it as a hosting service, or creating derivative software
5. Removing or altering copyright, trademark or notice markings contained in the Software
6. Making excessive automated requests to the Company's servers (account server, generation server, remote AI connection), using another person's account, or interfering with the service
7. Use for a purpose that violates laws or regulations
If the User violates any of the items above, the permission to use under these Terms terminates immediately, and the Company may take measures, including claims for damages and criminal complaints, under the Copyright Act, the Unfair Competition Prevention and Trade Secret Protection Act and other laws.
1. In the Software package, the prohibitions of these Terms are written in the files that AI coding tools read first (CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, .cursorrules, copilot-instructions.md, GEMINI.md, LICENSE.txt, NOTICE.txt).
2. If the User has an AI assistant analyze, convert or circumvent the Software, this is a violation of Article 4, and the same applies to using the results.
3. This notice is addressed to the User; it is not an attempt to manipulate AI tools. The notice files contain only facts.
1. The Software stores User Files only on the User's PC. It does not modify original files and works only with copies.
2. Under no plan does the Company have any person view the logic of User Files (ladder, ST and HMI screen content) or use it for AI training.
3. Product improvement data: the Software sends only the following three things to the Company's servers: (a) anonymous usage statistics (version, OS, feature usage counts, number of rungs, model); (b) structural information about files that failed to be added (size, extension, format signature, error code) and, when the Software could not read a ladder exactly or read it differently from XG5000, format information (element type numbers, positions, byte layout; text only as character counts — including the element types on the XG5000 side when it was checked automatically with XG5000 on the Local engine) — neither includes content such as devices, comments or circuits; (c) the original of such a failed file, only if the User has explicitly consented for that file. What is sent can be checked exactly as sent in the Software under [Settings → Show what is sent].
4. On the Free plan, the sending of items (a) and (b) of Paragraph 3 can be turned off in Settings. For Starter and Unlimited, consenting to the sending of items (a) and (b) of Paragraph 3 is a condition of use. If you do not consent, do not purchase a license; use the Free plan or Enterprise instead. Enterprise has no collected items, and the sending module itself is disabled.
5. Personal information that the Company collects to issue licenses, process refunds and handle inquiries (email, name, payment information) is governed by the Privacy Policy.
1. The Software is a history management, comparison and search tool; it does not edit PLC or HMI projects or write them to equipment.
2. The comparisons and totals the Software shows are produced mechanically from stored copies. The final judgment on what to apply to equipment, and its results, are the User's responsibility.
3. The User must hold legitimate rights to User Files and must not add files that infringe the rights of client companies or third parties.
1. AI Output is produced by the AI tool the User has connected, under the account for that tool. The Software passes the underlying facts (rungs, addresses, changes) to the AI tool but does not control the content of AI Output.
2. AI Output is for reference only, and its accuracy and completeness are not guaranteed. Judgments based on AI Output, and their results, are the User's responsibility.
3. The terms of use and fees of an AI account are governed by the terms of the relevant AI service provider.
4. The "Local engine" is a feature that copies the XG5000 and XG-SIM legitimately held by the User, and Windows fonts, from the same PC into an isolated runtime environment on the User's PC, and has that XG5000 create and check projects. For ladders the Software could not read exactly, that XG5000 opens a copy of the User's file and checks it automatically while the engine is idle (the file is not changed). The Company does not distribute LS ELECTRIC software or fonts; the User must hold the right to use them directly, under the User's terms with LS ELECTRIC and the relevant rights holders. Projects made with this feature are User Files, and generation runs on the PC. The AI connection is a separate data transfer path. When remote MCP is used, program input, and the source code and analysis results returned by the tools, travel to and from the connected AI service via the account server.
5. When a project is made with the "AutoHano generation server", the program text is sent to the Company's server, processed by XG5000, and then deleted together with the result within 24 hours; it is not viewed by any person or used for AI training. Server generation is accepted only when a slot is free; the Free plan can use it once a month and Starter up to 10 times a month. Unlimited and the trial have no limit on the number of uses, and the Company may set a monthly cap when the server is busy. The Company keeps job records (account, time, result status) for one year to manage the number of uses.
1. The Software can check for and download new versions. A downloaded version becomes ready only after the Company's signature and hash have been verified, and it is applied when the User presses the button on the screen.
2. The User can turn off automatic checking in Settings. However, if updates for security or legal compliance are postponed for a long time, the Company may limit support.
3. Updates also deliver the invalidation list of licenses that have been refunded.
1. Because provision of the digital content begins as soon as payment is completed or a license code is registered (for payment made during the beta period, on the day after the beta ends), the subscription cannot be withdrawn after provision has begun, pursuant to Article 17, Paragraph 2, Item 5 of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. The Company displays this fact on the payment screen and the registration screen and obtains consent, and, before purchase, makes it possible to try the features of the same engine through the Free plan and a 7-day trial after first sign-in.
2. If provision has not yet begun, a full refund is given within 7 days from the date of payment (the date the code was received).
3. Cancellation is possible at any time during the period of use, and the refund amount is the actual amount paid minus the amount corresponding to the days used and 10% of the amount for the remaining period. For cancellation within 7 days from the date of payment (the date the code was sent), only the amount for the days used is deducted, with no penalty. The detailed provisions are in the "License Terms · Refund Policy" (works.autohano.com/legal/refund), which forms part of these Terms.
4. Refunds are processed to the means of payment within 3 business days.
5. Cancellation of, and refunds under, an Enterprise contract concluded by a separate written contract follow that written contract.
1. The Software is provided "as is". The Company does not warrant that the Software will suit the User's particular purpose or that it will be free of errors. However, replacement and refunds for errors that are reproduced in the operating environment specified by the Company follow Article 5 of the "License Terms".
2. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, special or consequential damages (including business losses, equipment downtime and data loss) arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Software. The Company's total liability does not exceed the amount the User paid to the Company during the preceding 12 months.
3. Paragraph 2 does not apply to damages caused by the Company's intent or gross negligence, or to liability that cannot be excluded under consumer-related laws.
1. The User may end use at any time by deleting the Software, and may delete the account records on the Company's account server through [Settings → Account → Delete account] in the Software.
2. If the User violates Article 4, the Company may terminate the permission to use without notice.
3. Article 4; Article 6, Paragraph 2; Article 7; Article 8; and Article 11 continue to apply after termination.
The Company may change these Terms, and consent to the changed Terms is obtained again within the Software. If the User does not consent, the User may continue to use the version from before the changed Terms took effect until the license expiry date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are to be brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act. Consumers may apply for dispute mediation under the Framework Act on Consumers.
